Sheriff helped me on how to set it up. It's quite easy.

As for book, you can use CP specific books which are available for download.
I am not worried about books, Romi will use her own. Can you post the directions?
Install Cp latest one. Install engine, there is an option on which engine to use for internet play, choose Romi. And connect to ICC using your id.
Also ,there is some settings to use when playing on the server, like timelag = 0 etc I forgot what it was, When i get back home, I may try to help you out. Until that, you do the above procedure and see if it works.
Also give me your messenger id, either yahoo, msn, or gtalk.
Why don't you operate Romi in ACCA World Computer rapid next month? Just weekend.
If I can figure all that out then no problemo, I will take the weekend off and Romi will compete in ACCA..I already have CP installed, I had no other option to get Chesstiger out of the installation package..I will do the rest on an offday, not in a mood to do anything new.
This will be cool Tony! But, unless you got a computer account ... hoops, hoops, hoops! Just too many hoops to jump through. Anyway, If you manage to jump through all the hoops then for the ACCA you will need a compile that will kabitz that I will make and send to you. Ofcourse for the ACCA computer accounts may still be free. I authorize you to get the account as Romi's operator. But, if I have to do it, I will. You should pm Charles Roberson about that. No time, gotta go.

I am pretty sure when I signed up I chose the account with computer, or computer help.. If I am going to operate Romi and take two days off from work, then I am going to need a better computer for Romi, hopfully I will get the stimulus before that and I can build a new system..

You have to go through hoops to buy the UCI version. Here is an outline of what I did...

1) Sign Up for ICC

http://www.chessclub.com/tryicc/register/

2) download Dasher from the below address

http://www.chessclub.com/helpcenter/int ... wnload.php

3) Go to the address below and buy a completely unnecessary ICC account...

http://www.chessclub.com/tryicc/purchase.html

I bought the 6months (34.95)

3) Log In to ICC using Dasher

4) After Login Go to Web>Purchase Junior, then follow the instructions from there...

Hope this helps..

Thanks for your patience, Tony.
Only ICC members can buy Junior 10 UCI, I did not like. I'd like to
buy Junior, but I do not want to be an ICC member, at least for now.

Well, yesterday I voted for moderators, and one of the chosen
was you.

Good luck!

The main reason why I have patience is because when I asked similar questions a long time ago, people either got mad or gave me sarcastic replies. Then I had to figure out everything on my own, so I know how hard that can be. Thanks for voting for me..

The last I read, you could get a free comp account if you buy a
human account. So, I wouldn't waste the paid account on computer.

Oh well, too late, I wish I had known. I just read about it an hour ago and then didnt read your post until now.. I have no interest in playing human matches as of now, but I guess getting the human account would have still been a better deal as the computer account would have been free.
3) Computer and human play CANNOT be mixed on one ICC account. If you use your account for playing, you must get another account for using your computer. Just type "register" to create a new account, then ask an admin to add it to the computer list.
I wonder if it is possible to get it the other way around??
