I enjoy the Stings. They add a bite, or sting of course, to the stock SF behaviour. Tactical fun guaranteed.
Anyway, just as regarding previous versions, i would appreciate a Mac compile.
I wonder now if Julien is around somewhere...

As I earlier wrote, I tried to modify my added the last fuctions (trapped piece detection).
And now Sting is able to solve this very difficult position in time less than half hour on an old dual core engine (the time of the last try ~10 minutes).

Next I found the following position (the most difficult rather):
[d]1n6/Pp1p1p1p/1P1P1P1P/4K3/2p5/p7/rpp1P3/qkb1R3 w - - bm xb8=N; (Babic 1996)
I improved my zugzwang code and now Sting is able to solve it in a few minutes (the old dual core machine again!).
Now I try to test the possible ELO difference of the changes. I don't like it!
