vajolet2 1.43 released

Hello dear Marco,


Unfortunately,
Vajolet2 1.43 test is canceled due to often crashes and many time forfeits!

Note that those Vajalot2 1.43's bugs are appearing on all my machines...

Also I should admit that it looks like Vajalot2 1.43 normally ponders...
But however, Vajalot does not play immediately (in case of recognizing the expecting move)

I hope the next version of Vajalot will be a stable one!

it's ok. vajolet doesn't play immediatly if he recongnize the expected move. he could play immediatly or continue thinking for some time

can you give me some detail about those crash? what version are you testing (32 bit or 64 bit), when does it crash and so on.

I used Vajolet2 1.43 x64 for my test,
Even I tried both 32 bit versions too and the same crashes are appeared again...

Note also that those Vajolet crashes and time forfeits are appearing oftenly on my i7 980X 3.33GHz and on my i5-3210 2.50GHz machines
I've noticed more than 50 games lost on time....and many crashes too,
And after those Vajolet crashes, my tournament PC is freezing and the engine matches are stopping...

For example,
Vajolet seems to more stable on my i7 970 3.20GHz machine
And as far as I remember, it has less than 10 games lost on time...

Are you playing with an opening book that is in general 8 moves deep. Looks like the first moves are GUI moves and vajolet is not starting to think.

while I try to replaicate your problem could you please try to see if the problem disappear disabling ponder/permanent brain?

in the pgn games you posted vajolet had already crashed and arena is continuing playing the games. so now vajolet will lose every game by time because it's not running on your pc.
by the way, I still don't know why it has previously crashed

Yes....the same crashes appeared again...even when ponder is off
For example, I closed Arena GUI (when Vajolet was thinking) and the same error message pop up again...

Very sad that Vajolet does not run properly on my systems...

I don't know too...why Vajolet crashes.... ))

Note also that I have no any problems with the rest top 20 open source engines

Exception, Bison and Boot forfeit on time sometimes too (but not very often)

But Vajolet...ufff...half of the games are lost on time....((
