Thanks, it works now with this wb2uci file - but not inside Arena 3.0 as a wb-engine. It loads 2449 MB hash and crashes here.
PS: large memoy tables ?? I cannot use it as I want to play more than 1 match parallel on the quad.

I can run Fizbo 1.4 as WB-2 in Arena 3.5 (didn't try Arena 3.0) IF I specify the engine type as autodetect. However, you can't use epd files with this arrangement.

Hi,
I need a configuration (wb2uci.eng) for Shredder GUI with access to the syzygy bases.
With this wb2uci.eng the engine does not use these bases:

[ENGINE]
Name=Fizbo 1.4
Author=Youri Matiounine
Filename=Wb2Uci.exe

[OPTIONS]
Program=fizbo14x64.exe
HashCommand=memory %i
Visible=Ponder,Hash,Extras

[EXTRAS]
NalimovPath=egtpath syzygy|string|H:\SyzygyTablebases

Hi Wael,
thanks for the try - I am sorry, no success under Shredder GUI.
No memory change and no tb access.

When I start the engine with this line in command prompt I get:

Found 0 syzygy tablebases.
Found 0 syzygy tablebases.

if I type the same inside command prompt, I get success:

fizbo14x64.exe xboard memory 128 egtpath type f:\sbases
Fizbo 1.4 started sucessfully
Found 145 syzygy tablebases.

As now I use Arena 3.0 to test the engine.

regards
Werner
