That's what i call a good advice, still wouldn't it be easier to simply include Houdini and Ivanhoe and the others in your tests?
Anyways, your still my buddy Graham, i appreciate your work - also your opinions sometimes may differ of mine.

People all have their own opinions on these engines. I think that in most cases, those opinions are unlikely to change without further information.SchachProfi wrote:> It is strongly advised to look at the many other rating lists available in

In my opinion, it's come to the point where people on both sides should just respect that fact and try to treat each other with some civility.
Cheers,
Graham.

Re: Night with the girlfriend / wife !?
Hi Graham,
let us simulate that the other testers in CCRL have interest to test IPP family engines. What's with yourself? What's your opinion?
The World is broken?
CCRL is bad? Now I lost my interest!
Let the others test such things, I have no interest to do it?
So what?
Quiz question for yourself and the other testers in CCRL:
What should an engine do?
Possible answers:
1. Give me material for a discuss with myself around my life!
Thorsten Czub syndrom ... if I read what Thorsten wrote in the latest years!
2. Give me material to create a good / bad guys situation!
It seems that this syndrom a lot of people have.
3. Give me a chance for an excuse for the girlfriend / wife (what the chess players have). So I can spend the night with computer chesss.
4. Should play chess!
Right!
4 is right!
Best

In SWCR Champions-League 2011 IvanHoe B49jA x64 is starting for Bermuda. It's often an "Bermuda-Missing-Engine". See it with humor and start your complete list of engines!

I should qualify what I wrote further because I want to be clearer.SchachProfi wrote:> It is strongly advised to look at the many other rating lists available in

Some CCRL members have tested these engines privately and Martin even publishes his results. That's fine with all CCRL members.
However, in order not to cause division within the group (which this issue has the potential to do), members have agreed not to test these engines for our rating lists. So whereas we pride ourselves on testers being able to choose which engines to test, group togetherness is sometimes a much more important issue. "Conscience" was probably the wrong word to use, but hopefully you get my drift.
Cheers,
Graham.
