We must go back in time to appreciate some test positions.
You are correct, for modern hardware with a modern program, some moves are too easy.

Well, if there are really two "best moves" then this problem is bad. Can Black do better than draw this one?

Rainbow Serpent would choose Ne4+, only once there is a Fail High for the bm, but it is not resolved as better than Ne4+ so the move is abandoned again.
