for a great tournament!

Normally the Capivara will best in the tournaments with smaller time control, but in this 40/40 the Capivara had the amazing performance.

Thanks for testing the Capivara chess engine.
You are a great motivator for those programmers who have less time and resources.

Best wishes
Lourenço

Just a thought- you get into some stronger competition, you are going to have to give it some hash to use- it is basically running on empty.

But congrats here-

Thank you George,

I made a small fix (I changed 3 characters in the code!).

CapivaraLK009a01a and CapivaraLK009a02a versions were recompiled,
and are re-published now at: vivaxadrez.wikispaces.com/Capivara

13.02.2013 - Capivara_LK_0.09a02a - UCi - 32-bit & 64-bit - Re-Builded in 16.05.2013
( Compilada a partir do MS Visual Studio 2010. Você precisará usar a "Visual C runtime libraries" ... )

You are good to go now, my friend! Opponents of Capivara beware! Appreciate you taking care of the fix. Now I can test it!

All I am waiting on now is to be sure which of these 2 you prefer I use.

Certainly the best to you,

george

I Just Had Another Thought To Consider

Post by geots »

I had another thought- they just inexplicably enter my mind every now and then. No idea where in hell they come from. Not to be confused with revelations.

Would you like to tell me if you prefer I use "a01a" or "a02a", or would you like me to find out for you which is the stronger of the 2? It won't take 1000 games- trust me.

Best,

george

I'm still in my work ...
In a few hours, when I get home, I will make a new re-build these two versions, and I will republish them.

Why?? There doesn't seem to be a problem, and they work great. (If it aint broke- don't fix it)

Yes, I corrected the problem of hash ...

But when I compiled, some codes had already in "b01a" and "b02a" versions ... ... ... what was published there not be a re-build, so I have to return some files to the oldest code, to do the rebuild ...

(What was published yesterday (dawn today) should be labeled as "b01a" and "b02 a")

I just saw what was wrong, after to have it published, but I had no time to fix it (I slept less than four hours before coming to work ...)
