A copy of GPL version 3 is missing from the compressed folder containing your compilations and the source code. So, technically, your distribution does not obey the General Public License. I think your link would be okay if Stockfish's Copying.txt was added to your 7zip file.

Actually looking at initial commit:

It seems more Stockfish than Glaurung (for instance book and move generation implementations are almost directly copied form SF).

I'd think it shows "derived from Glaurung" simply because author copied SF readme file verbatim changing only the name:

Anyhow I have to add that the author did a good amount of work above the original sources so that it is a derived and independent engine by all means.

And because it publishes the sources it is 100% legal.

At the very least the guy is not sticking to 5 b), which means his publishing of the sources on github is an infringement of the copyright on SF and therefore illegal.
