Thanks Komodo Team for all the effort you put in this engine..

Yes, it really is a remarkable effort from Mark Lefler, especially if you consider that it is him alone against the Might of the huge Stockfish Development Team !
If only Robert Houdart would cooperate with him, these 2 could have left Stockfish floundering in the shallows...(idle daydream I know ) !

Larry Kaufman has a lot to do with it to. He is great to work with--like getting free chess lessons every day!

Larry is one of the few, a Grandmaster that is truly an expert in chess computers and chess programs. A huge asset for any team - plus he's very personable. Another chracteristic that is rare for a GM. Keep up the good work Mark!

I just installed SCID 4.6.1 and Komodo 9.02 works fine for me with it. If you send me a private message I could perhaps suggest some things to try.

I run SCID 4.4 and I cannot run any flavor of Komodo 9 under Linux. It crashes with the same error as indicated above. SCID vs PC however runs Komodo 9 just fine.

The generic linux version doesn't run either on my system.

Same result Jesse when I tried komodo-9.02-linux-generic. This is with SCID 4.4. Other engines I've tried (Stockfish, Houdini 3) run fine.
