Impressive iPad 2 performance!

Now, still no iPhone 6 results? Surprising

Btw, do you know where one can consult such a list for computers, or at least well identified processors (e.g. Intel core 2 duo T7600, or Intel 4900MQ)?

Thanks

No overclocking or customer roms..
Just close all (as much i can) background apps!
That's it..

And yes..this first run with 1112 was also from my mobile..but then with other apps open..also wifi On..therefore lower result.

iPhone 6 results on Stockfish after 2 min analysis of starting position: 1160 kN/s!

EDIT: I did the test a few more times and the average speed after 2 mins was actually a bit higher (around 1190 kN/s)

Asus Memo Pad 7" Intel Z3745 @ 1.86Ghz

Post by Gurcan Uckardes »

Thorsten,

You can add 772 KNps to the list from my own tablet. It stabilizes after 1 minutes. 2-3 mins almost the same. I do my droidfish tests with 256MB hash and min 3 minutes.

I went up to depth 36! and 6 billion nodes without throttling. So Intel is very good at working full cores, full speed.

One thing is important with Intel's. They require i686 binaries for optimum perfo although they don't refuse ARMv5 compiles with 40% perfo.

Droidfish installs i686 or ARM5 or ARM7 depending on the device, thus no problem unless you "import" a binary yourself.

Hi Thorsten,
I get only 822k on the Huawei Ascend Mate 7 running with 8 CPU
(Droidfish running Stockfish 121014 Analyze 128 sec)
I wonder why the Honor 6 is faster ?
best wishes
Werner
