Hi Jim,

I know that packet from techpowerup.
But here also, not all are included if I checked that with software like UnigetUI.

Same for https://www.computerbase.de/downloads/s ... soft-.net/
Older not longer supported versions are not completly. Like v5, v7 in the last files from Microsoft.

For me, all that is a big chaos if I am looking in my installed programs in Windows.

Hm, I doesn't know.
A work for the evening to check that ...

:-)

Thanks again!
Have a good day!

PS: Better is for give ChessBase versions a number.
Not 18.0.0.0 for ChessBase 18, can be see under installed programs, better is 18.0.0.7 for update 7 or so.
So, very easy to check for program utils.
Same for the old runtime 6.0.25 if 6.0.36 is installed.
So, the installer must not add the older 6.0.25 in the system if 6.0.36 is installed.
Typical ChessBase wirrwarr with updates and different other things, not important here.

Hi Jim,
I don't know if it's always possible, but it would be nice, if when You compile an engine, its avx2 version is included too.
Anyway, thanks in advance !

Jim.
My machine is an AMD Ryzen 9 3900x, processes bmi2 instruction, but avx2 gives a better result. Alas, avx512 does not work !

AMD Zen 2 supports bmi2 but is very slow, for those machines you need avx2
