Why isn't Fritz 11 in Paderborn?

I think the main reason is that they don't have a competitve product. Fritz 11 is single core and really ... against all those MP engines it would not be a fair match. Now if DF 11 was there then we can talk.

Even when they've had the latest Deep Fritz available, have they bothered to participate in recent times?

I recall the release of the Deep Fritz 10.1.0.0 was a big improvement and yet it didn't participate in any chess events....

Why all the Chessbase bashing?? Theres got to be something in CCC rules against this?

I'm not Chessbase bashing. In fact, the Chessbase GUI is my preferred GUI.
Somebody asked a relevant question and I gave a tongue-in-cheek response.

I'm actually bashing Fritz, even though it's my favorite GUI, for not joining tourneys.
