Post by Tony Thomas »

The latest engine to be added to the list are Neophyte, Small_C, Strategicdeep, Usurper and Microchess 1976..Two engines were removed from the list, special thanks goes to Jim Ablett for the fixed versions of Kace and Joanna.

Update 27, Tony's no play list

Arics 0.95 (does not move)
Bachess 1.3 (always runs out of time)
Babychess 11.1 (frequent crashes, illegal moves etc) Later versions not available..
Blitzer 2.0 (unexplainable time losses)

MFchess 1.1 (time losses)

Best,
Dont even waste your time, they lose almost all the games on time, may be I should give them like a day increment.. I am planning to run a tournament similar to Leo's Mr.Irrelevant tournament..I just have to find a name that I think is funny that's all..

You should add me to the list.

Fernando brain engine:
forget or does not know ending basics (King oposition? What's that?)
tactics calculation going these days not beyond 5 ply
falling in mate in two combs.
opening knowledge reduced to the sentence "try to develope yur pieces"
Lose interest after a while. Imposible to make it work after 30 minutes.
Losing every game to every engine

My best

Mfchess 1.1 JA by Mats Forsén

http://mihd.net/fsrv79a

Added basic wb time control.

Still at bottom end of strength scale, but at least it
shouldn't lose too much now due to time forfeits.

Jim.

Hi Tony,

Hold off on that for a little while. I found some more bugs :)

New versions of both MFchess & Kace will be up on my homepage later today.

Jim.
