Hell Tony I have a extra working DVD drive I can give you for free. Just let me know if you want it.Tony Thomas wrote:I have decided to finally cross over to the Dark Side..I have decided to buy Rybka 3 with Aquarium GUI.. I have no use for a playchess account and my current computer doesnt have a DVD drive, so buying any chessbase product would be a waste of money.swami wrote:I'm sure you are gonna buy a Aquarium GUI alone without Rybka 3 engine, TonyTony Thomas wrote:Ted, you are clearly crossing over to the world of people who are obsessed..Is there really a need for buying both single and deep versions? Haha, I was just using the last excuse from the handbook of chessbase haters. I wont buy a chessbase product unless they start supporting WB protocol again.AdminX wrote:Hell Tony I have a extra working DVD drive I can give you for free. Well, You can always use wb2uci to make engines able to work in the GUI, is that tedious? Or Using adapter wouldn't let wb engines play at full strength? and it delays? or is it the hash problem? or?Tony Thomas wrote: Haha, I was just using the last excuse from the handbook of chessbase haters. Well, Ulysses is one of the most active contributor in Rybka forum and a moderator as well, so I thought about asking this question.Tony Thomas wrote:I doubt Ulysses made it.. He is too busy eating his choco latty self.. Have you noticed that he only goat 3/7th of the chocolate bar left?

Why should I have to use an adapter when they can easily implement WB support. Arena did it, winboard did it, Chesspartner did it..Why not chessbase?swami wrote:Well, You can always use wb2uci to make engines able to work in the GUI, is that tedious?
