yes... but nobody here counts in $ anymore since the dollar is not worth the paper anymore it is printed on.
the products now use the € as orientation. maybe bad for the $ guys,
but in the 40 years before it was vice versa. sometimes things change.

Your right about that ....

I just got this info from George, thought others might be interested.
George Tsavdaris wrote:Chessbase informed me that the Rybka 3.ctg (Jeroen) book will be sold only separately and that Rybka 3 and Deep Rybka 3 packages would not have it.
So to be clear, I buy Chessbase Version of Rybka and I get the following:
Deep Rybka 3 chess engine
Updated Chessbase GUI with new features
One Year Playchess
NO New Rybka Opening book by Jeroen Noomen
Which means either I use the current Rybka Opening book or buy the New Rybka 3 Opening book as a separate purchase. The new Rybka may or may not have and Opening book, but just not the new Rybka 3 Opening book by Jeroen Noomen.

This 'Sampled Search' feature works the same way that it did with DF10 and F11, right? If it now works with Rybka 3 which is a UCI engine, does it mean it would work with all UCI engines?
Why you say "he wasted"? With hat you presuppoposes from the beginning it was a bad idea. Just call it an inversion, that I celebrate. I am bored of even Chessbase gui, good as it is, simply because I have seen enough of it along the years. Any novelty is welcome, specially if other guy make the investment of time -or waste, as you say-and not us.
Apparently the download version of Deep Rybka 3 with the Aquarium GUI will only cost 79.3 Euros, which is currently $109 USD, almost $50 cheaper than the Chessbase version. I think I know which version I will be purchasing now.

The Chessbase artical states at the foot that both versions are included.
This chessbase page has been edited a little less than two hours after my post.
No mention of 64 bits was present before.
Good news that they reacted so fast for making things clearer on this point.

I tend to "feel" the same way... However, also with Convekta there's no sign of Rybka3.ctg...
All seems a bit weird to me, except that ctg is CB-format, and appears that the only way to get the book for your Rybka is via CB.
Anyway, pleased to that Rybka is still UCI even with CB - seems Vas won that round

Oh wow, I thought you got the book if you bought the engine. I thought they offered the book seperately as people who are buying aquarium would no longer get the .ctg book for free.
