Yes, it came with ChessPartner 5.4.
I downloaded the trial version yesterday and it seems nice.
Figured out how to do almost everything very quickly.

Ran an automated 10 game match with LChess and Telepath took
95% of the points.

They have a tool for running automated matches and tournaments.
Also, it could handle UCI and Winboard engines. So, I don't see why
you guys are running matches by hand.

Between 2200-2300 ELO points.
This engine is the standaed Chess Partner GUI engine ( Lokasoft ).

Sorry Ruxy,it's not strong as you posted,it's much weaker....
As I said,it plays around the 2000 Elo barrier,no more....

Olivier has 1847 for it in his test, usually ratings are bit lower in his list so I'd guess it converts to somewhere around 2000-2100.
Hi Charles, Swami and all :)

It is even worse now : 1832 for next ChessWar edition.

And yes, my ratings are usually lower than other lists.

Indeed, playing matches by hand belongs to another century :)

ChessPartner supports autoplayer as well, I play ChessWar games this way.

Forget the number -this or that Elo- and just consider the subjetive, existencial part of the issue: LChess is strong enough to give an interesting game and weak enough to be defeated half the time for a good club player. In that sense is a marvelous program, one with which you receive satisfaction.
If only the gui of Chess Patener weas decent....

I personally prefer running my tournaments under Arena, I never actually thought about integrating Lchess in to my rating list. I mainly played the games vs arasan because I wanted to know at the time, which engine that I can download with a GUI was the strongest.

Hi Fernando,

I've just been using CP for 3 days. It seems fine. Looks like it
has all the functionality one needs and then some in a few cases.
The only thing that is "less" than the ChessBase gui (in my eyes) is
that the various windows don't "snap" in place, but that isn't an issue
to me because it does save any layout I create and then brings it
back up on restart.

What is it that you see failing with it?

Oh, yes: I agree that a program doesn't have to be GM level to be
enjoyable. Style of play can be just as important. My son enjoys
playing against Xadreco and sometimes so do I.

Oh well, I just consider its GUI ugly. In general, Windows guis for any kind of programs tends to be ugly, specially if compared with Mac. I do not understand why developpers for Windows does not take time to do the same.

My best
