Ramdisk and Hashtables

Is there a way to tell the Chessbase GUI or any other GUI for that matter, which disk to use for hashtables?

I don't think a GUI or engine is able to offer that.
Maybe the operating system can do it partly.

Yeah, I was thinking about Rybka 3 and persistent hashtables.
