Excelent tourney!!

I'm having the same problem as J. B. Buijs, when I type 'history', it shows: 'skiull has no history games', I thought that winboard will save the games but is not configured like that by default

This is strange because for me the 'history' command is working, at least it shows a list of the last 40 games played.
I didn't check if the games are accessible though.

That is rather weird. When I log on and type "history Skiull", I do see games:

Code: Select all

fics% history Skiull
History for Skiull:
                  Opponent Type ECO End Date
 0: - 1483 B 1620 rpiTogaII [ br 5 1] D20 Mat Sat Oct 10 21:25:51 2015

 6: = 1568 B 1535 Schooner [ br 5 1] D55 NM Sat Oct 10 22:55:12 2015
 7: + 1613 W 1573 Joker [ br 5 1] C11 Mat Sat Oct 10 23:11:10 2015
 8: - 1573 W 1607 Spartacus [ br 5 1] B45 Mat Sat Oct 10 23:22:42 2015

Well, that is a bit difficult to configure, as it is not known in advance where the user will install XBoard, and it could be in a read-only place (like C:\Program Files\).

Alright now it's showing the games, I was using Arena but I forgot to change the host to winboard.nl :D

With winboard now I got all the games with the command:

smoves Skiull GAME_NUMBER

Now I've saved all the games played

History works well for me (Isa)
Well I liked this tourney and was happy to drew Joker :-) , but after , I think Isa played so bad , and some bad openning choices :
**Against Sillycon , with black : 1.d4 Nf6 2.c4 a6 3.Nf3 d5 :
[d]rnbqkb1r/1pp1pppp/p4n2/3p4/2PP4/5N2/PP2PPPP/RNBQKB1R w KQkq - 0 4
May be dificult to play by a weak engine
**Against Schooner , the King gambit , same remarq, dificult to play with a pawn behind for a weak engine

And about the Isa's problem with black pieces , it was a silly bug , computer_side was = EMPTY by default instead of = BLACK lol

At least , a funny tournament , can't wait the next one :-)

Bests

Yeah, you won't find the games on freechess.org, that's for sure!

Alas, not. SMTP servers only accept mail from the known set of customer IPs, to prevent their abuse for spamming.
Then don't use a smart relay but do direct delivery.
You could also maybe use the relay of your own isp; that would require enabling authentication with the user/pass of your isp.

Glad to see WaDuuttie and Nightmare still kicking butt. Loved those engines hope the authors are doing well.
