Hi Graham,

I am not up-to-date with all the "Nets".
I know version 1.0 and 1.1 from Chessbase FatFritz only!

All based on lc0!

I think Chessbase will have a bit from the cake only!
That's allways the same!

Fritz 17 engine by Frank Schneider ist much more interesting.
Thinking on the good and old winboard tourneys with Zarkov and Gromit ... John will remember!

We send the results daily via mail to him (*.txt file).
With the first 10 available Winboard engines!

After problems with the name "Gromit" the engine got a new name "Anaconda" ... many years later!
I think Ginkgo is a rewritten Anaconda (not sure here).
And Fritz 17 is Ginkgo!

The programmer Frank Schneider is also a very nice and friendly guy!

You know that all ... as old computer chess professional.

Many programmers got problems with names of programs.
So I wrote a bit to "Dragon" in Komodo thread.

Oh es, John follow your events and the results from CCRL, CEGT and FGRL.
We have some more ... the Jurek and OWL ratings, Ed Schröder do here a bit too.

And John tested a lot in own work vs. others engines or looking on my test-results.

I think end of the year he will send a new version for all of us.
You can be sure ... John is watching and working!

:-)

Best
Frank

Have the same problem with Counter ... not nice!

Congratulations to John (Wasp author) for winning the tournament. :)

Thanks to all who followed.
It was good, as always, to see engine authors and others following the broadcast.
