Fritz infinite analysis: how to leave engine on while scrolling notation

Post by simonizeourwatches »

I am using Fat Fritz 2, but other versions of Fritz behave the same way. With the engine running, I scroll down beyond the page containing the highlighted move. Fritz automatically stops the engine. Irritating. If I want to stop the engine I know how to do that. How can I scroll without stopping the engine?

Is there a lock icon in the analysis window? If you click it, and it shows as locked, does the analysis still stop when your scroll down?

I was wondering what that lock icon was for. Will try it.
