Re: Can your engine find this mate in this position?
Both Slowchess 2.9 and Dragon 3 show mate in 11. Slowchess spots it very fast. Stockfish took longer to find it, all engine running 1 thread.

Re: Can your engine find this mate in this position?
Do you mean the Chess960 opening position or some position further in the game? Probably Black could have played better a few times, I know some of the Chess960 are 'proven' wins but is that the question? I see Harvey interpreted it in another way.
I tried to make it a non Chess960 question by going to position after 14.0-0-0 and making it regular chess, Pro Deo can't play that. So black could not castle anymore here:

I mean there's a mate after the last move which is move 32 that is hard to find. Especially, Hiarcs, Slowchess, and Dragon found it easily.Eelco de Groot wrote: ↑Fri Jun 10, 2022 4:41 pm Do you mean the Chess960 opening position or some position further in the game? Re: Can your engine find this mate in this position?
I believe that it is more important to see if you can draw or win in certain position instead of looking to find any engine that can find Mate, For Instance this is your next challenge as a humanbastiball wrote: ↑Fri Jun 10, 2022 6:01 pmI mean there's a mate after the last move which is move 32 that is hard to find. Re: Can your engine find this mate in this position?
I see, that is a good test for the Mate finding capacity then. Fruit Rebel MOD has no aspiration search so that is sometimes slower than Toga Rebel, but it does have Singular Extensions, that can be good, or notbastiball wrote: ↑Fri Jun 10, 2022 6:01 pmI mean there's a mate after the last move which is move 32 that is hard to find. Especially, Hiarcs, Slowchess, and Dragon found it easily.Eelco de Groot wrote: ↑Fri Jun 10, 2022 4:41 pm Do you mean the Chess960 opening position or some position further in the game? Probably Black could have played better a few times, I know some of the Chess960 are 'proven' wins but is that the question? I see Harvey interpreted it in another way.
I tried to make it a non Chess960 question by going to position after 14.0-0-0 and making it regular chess, Pro Deo can't play that. So black could not castle anymore here:
