Note: Another question would be, do we gain much from 32 cores to 128-thread desktop processor ?

I believe that it is better than what 99% of the subscribers of this forum have in their possession, therefore it is a GREAT replacement

If you can feel the cold in your 40 celsius room, than it’s the right thing to heat up much much more.
Don’t forget to buy earmuffs.
You can probably run it only for one month in a year due to electricity costs.
Better to buy a MacBook Pro 16-inch M1 MAX.

If one can afford to spend nearly $4k on a CPU alone...your (never ending...) objections are moot - especially as concerns 'electricity costs'.
