Re: Nice position
Something about that probably, yes.
It's a study by Kasparyan G. 1977, HHdbVI has it as nr. +0342.03e2c8 with comment
3.hm Szachy#100; as Paloma alread wrote as I saw not until I had posted on my own too.
Author's solution leads to mate in a much shorter way than longest one does, it's not a mate in x- puzzle, so thematic line counts more than DTM.
With first move given in, SlowChess started looking for mate, without that it had some ponder- time with 0.00 even with right first best move in output, Huntsman as well.
After a quick Backward of author's line:

DTM of best line will be some shorter probably.
Edit of edit: Crystal started with empty hash:

Re: Nice position
Thanks Peter. When I tested position with Crystal it got soon winning score, but after 15 minutes it suddenly goes to 0,00

Re: Nice position
Oops
Yet as you see at my output Crystal got a DTM- score (not even much too high probably), after that I stopped. Normally an already found mate doesn't change to 0.00 anymore.
One difference between your and my trials could be, I had Syzygy ProbeLimit=0, if you want to give that a try and didn't do so already too anyhow
Peter.

Re: Nice position.
Hello:
Nice position indeed, which can be found at YACPDB:
https://yacpdb.org/#283526
It won the 4th Honorable Mention. The problem was also reprinted at EG magazine No. 60 (Vol. IV), April 1980, page 296, Problem No. 3952:
https://arves.org/arves/images/PDF/EG_PDF/eg60.pdf
I did not found the problem at Domination in 2,545 endgame studies by Kasparyan (38 of them composed or revised by the own Kasparyan, just searching his problems with the help of the index of composers).
Regards from Spain.
