Re: SPCC: Testrun of PlentyChess 4.0 finished
it's a known queen sac , first played by Mchedlishvili(2609) - Ratnakaran(2338)
in 2019 (also won by Black), then three times at human masters level in 2022,
and next year in correspondence chess Knittel - Wong, ICCF, 2023.
The move 8...Nxd5! scores better than 8...Qxd5 but White still does not
have to lose ofcourse after this queen sac.

So what? The engines definitly did not know the queensac before (how should they?). Playing a queensac is very rare in enginegames and much rarer when it happens so early in a game (move 8/9).jefk wrote: ↑Wed Jan 22, 2025 12:16 pm it's a known queen sac , first played by Mchedlishvili(2609) - Ratnakaran(2338)

So, it is a rare and great enginegame. And I never said anything else, or did I?
