Re: Stockfish: Our lawsuit against ChessBase

It's just saddens me when lawsuits or other types of divisive action occur. Just curious, if CB loses, will you remove FF from the CCRL list? ChessBase already conceded selling Houdini, and Houdini is still there. So the answer is no I suspect. At the very least Houdini 5/6 should have a big fat se...

Re: Stockfish: Our lawsuit against ChessBase

Next you'll argue Houdini source code is available and therefore not a GPL violation. "Just ask for source on some Russian forum"

Telling people they can "find it on github" isn't the same as making it available btw. (besides that user not even being a chessbase employee)
If it's available on github, then of course it's available. That's just splitting hairs.
It's not...

Re: Time to rethink what Albert Silver has done?

Yo, into wasps' nest, I am not into the details, but I read that Stockfish uses now Lc0 data for training, and doubled their net size. Time to rethink what Albert Silver has done? As far as I got it he used FatFritz 1 (Lc0 derivative) data for training and doubled the net size of the FatFritz 2 (St...
