Re: UEAL - Unique Engine Authors License?

Luckily moral standards are, as the name suggests, standards which are widely accepted in the chess community. And I think one needs to distinguish between moral standards and legal standards. In case of Koivisto, what could there possibly be for us to add to our GPL? @Milos: I am not a lawyer. 1. ...

Do you have plans for pondering and/or FRC?
No plans to implement pondering, FRC is something we might get to eventually but is not likely to get implemented anytime soon.

Re: Koivisto 5.0

Unfortunately have to agree with this. The cutting edge of using neural networks in search heuristics such as pruning, and in time management is in the Leela discord, while hardly anybody on Talkchess seems to be aware of neural networks as anything other than a supplement or replacement for their ...

So what are 'threats'?
Threats are defined as a smaller piece attacking a larger piece. Pawn attacking knight for example.

Re: multi-PST for middle-game depend from kings positions

Hi all! The auto-tuned PST tables show quite acceptable results, but I see a problem with them in the middlegame due to the position of the king (in the center, short and long castle). Re: Koivisto 5.0

It is hypocritical to lecture others while doing the same thing as what they are doing . You spend half your post on your engine's release ranting about how other engines are un-original, how they ctrl+c/ctrl+v Stockfish code etc. You must have the most original engine in the universe with no code ...
