Re: Polish users cut off from TalkChess

This is only a list. :( What do I need to do to use this us server? Please explain step by step. That was a list of http-proxies in the US. If you use one of those in your browser settings, all your web-traffic will be routed through that proxy. How to Set Up a Proxy in Chrome: https://proxyway.com...

Re: Non-Polish users cut off from TalkChess

Try to use an US proxy server:

I used 51.81.186.206 port 8080 to write this message. You can setup a proxy in your OS network settings or browser settings.

Re: UEAL - Unique Engine Authors License?

There is no open source license which prevents commercial engines from taking ideas, or formulas, or numbers. Re: UEAL - Unique Engine Authors License?

It was not supposed to be offensive. You are free to do with your engine whatever you like. But the points given, I see that there are moral standards on top of what the GPL covers. From the ChessBase thread: It feels like many people here dont understand the difference between whats legal and what is allowed. The legal part is decided by official courts where as what is allowed is decided by the chess community. Especially the unique engine authors, tcec etc. According to comm...

Is 'giving credit' a condition of the GPL?
That is the interesting part ;)
