Re: Koivisto 5.0

You should say the same about Lelenstein Alliestein, Scorpio, Stoofvlees as well than, since they copy things from Lc0 too... I don't think you know if Stoofvlees has copied anything or to what extent. Besides that, note that the author of Stoofvlees is also the author of Leela Zero - from which Le...

Re: Is this SF NN almost like 20 MB book?

I reacted strongly not because of feelings, but because I think this topic has basically invalidated some of the more recent TCEC Superfinal results, and the admins there should stop ignoring it. Superfinal results haven’t been statically significant for a while, it’s on hardware that nobody would ...

Re: Is this SF NN almost like 20 MB book?

I’m sorry I hurt your feelings. :D I reacted strongly not because of feelings, but because I think this topic has basically invalidated some of the more recent TCEC Superfinal results, and the admins there should stop ignoring it. However, even if my feelings were hurt, that would not invalidate wh...

Re: Is this SF NN almost like 20 MB book?

https://github.com/dkappe/leela-chess-weights/wiki/Leela-is-an-opening-book-nonsense Is this meant to be a fair analysis of the idea presented? "Leela is an opening book nonsense" The title you chose is far from impartial, which I can't say I like. It makes you sound like you've come into this alre...

Re: Ataxx

qsearch is ok Definitely interested in what you've come up with for that - everything I've tried so far has failed. Have you tried searching only 1 step move in qsearch? Actually I have - but it's possible that while it failed previously it may test stronger now. I'll give it another shot at some p...

Re: UCI Win/Draw/Loss reporting

I may add, uci protocol encourages clear key names, example, info depth, the word depth is fully spelled out. info score, the word score is fully spelled out too. info multipv and others. wdl is not clear, is it probability? is it a counter of something? winprob is more clearer to denote win probab...

Re: Ataxx

I've been writing an Ataxx library in C++ for the last month or so. I think it should be fairly usable, so anyone is more than welcome to use it if they plan on writing an engine or anything else. https://github.com/kz04px/libataxx

Since seeing this topic I've created a release for Baislicka that you can find here. It's not (yet) CCRL rated but I do estimate it's about as strong as Cinnamon 2.0 at 40/4.
