Re: CTF Survey

Every time I have ventured into CTF it quickly turns into a "should I comment, or bite my lip" decision. There are many places on the web to vent your frustrations, whether it be politics, religion or any of the other categories of topics that Mother's have warned us about not getting into conversat...

Hi,
are you able to start Lc0 with a setup position?

I have no graphic Card and when I Setup a Position with blas Version for CPU inside Shredder GUI, Lc0 crashes here.
What GUI do you use?
Personally, I use Arena. Lc0 doesn't have any issues when I feed it a position.

You just need to update your nvidia driver so that it supports 11.1
You were correct. I "thought" I had the latest version, but I did not. I updated the drivers and now it is working. Doesn't seem to be any faster, but the utilization on the GPU is a lot lower.

lc0 - which package

I had lc0 working fine on my PC, but after DL'ing 26.3-rc2 it is tossing errors. I have a GTX1080 (no fp-16 support). I dl'ed the lc0-v0.26.3-rc2-windows-gpu-nvidia-cuda.zip file It installed the cuda 11 dll's along with the other lc0 files. when i run lc0 from a command prompt, I get the following:...

Bit Board Orientation

Which board orientation do you use for your engines? That is, is the 0th bit the A8 square, H8 is 7th, and so on, or do you as I usually do, make the 0th bit A1, and H1 is the 7th bit. I've done both and it didn't seem to make a difference as long as the "shift" and move mask values are correct for ...
