Re: Banksia GUI released

Do you think Banksia does not like "free style" info string ? I think that Banksia expects a bestmove string right after the stop command (does the UCI protocol say anything about that?), and as it's receiving an info string instead, things break. Well, I just went and looked: * stop stop calculati...

Re: Banksia GUI released

Minic has received a stop just after a go ponder, so it as no best move to output and says 321.09:09:40 Minic 3.10> bestmove 0000 But indeed, it is logging a little more before that with 321.09:09:40 Minic 3.10> info string Warn 2021-08-04 09:09:40-609: Empty pv and Banksia isn't asking for a new se...

Minic 3.09 -22

Minic 3.04 is still the best version, I will replay this 1800 game match with the standard evaluation as Minic 3.04x

Thanks for the test. I'm not sure to understand your last sentence. Minic 3.04 was tested HCE or with a net ?

Re: Minic version 3

I'm glad to release today Minic 3.09 with some bug fixes and a new embedded net named "nidicolous nighthawk". https://github.com/tryingsomestuff/Minic/releases/tag/3.09 This net plays quite good FRC chess and is a little stronger than negligible nystagmus at standard chess. As always, binaries are h...

Looks really complicated, with the reference site not even working properly.

Alternative: install Droidfish from the Fdroid store and use engines as executables like before. Problem solved.
This is working fine indeed, but is droidfish handling tourney or just engine versus human ?

Re: Winter

I don't want to spam forum with every little patch, but version 0.9.5 adds support for Fischer Random / Chess960, which feels like a feature some people care about. Awesome, just when I started my FRC "Top 20" tournament. Will include Winter in it when you finally release it (waiting also for Minic...
