Re: Fat Fritz 2

Latest from the blitz list. https://i.postimg.cc/9QF0QrHH/Rating-FF2.jpg Weird, why would you show two stockfish engines at the top. Isn't normal practice is to show just one version for each engine? This picture makes it all worse. The uninformed user, who doesn't know that SF12 since long is hist...

Re: Fat Fritz 2

Sorry. I may have missed if the YouTube video has already been posted (too many pages). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9C-E1BqzLcs&t=2692s&ab_channel=ChessBase Chessbase is trying to paint Mr Silver as a computer chess expert who "developed" the new NNUE with his "hundreds and hundreds" of hard ho...

what's the github repository link?
They don't have a repo, they just have a patch, which mostly just renames Stockfish to FF2:

Curious, has anyone tried compiling Fat Fritz for linux?
Fat Fritz is literally just Lc0 with name and some default UCI parameters changed, so it builds identically to Lc0.

Here is the complete diff:

Re: Can somebody do simply this? By far the strongest engine!

Lc0 is ridiculous in endgames, it always was and will probably improve only a little. In 200 games against Fritz 5.32, SF_11 scored 200/200, while Lc0 SV_3200 scored 193/200, Lc0 failing to convert in endgames 14 totally won positions even against Fritz 5.32 !!! It's ridiculous. Do you still have t...

Oh my gosh. The CCC needs to use that Armageddon mode.

What other engines have it?
None, as far as I know.
Lc0 has it but noone has ever tested it.

Re: How to run rtx 2080ti for leela optimally?

Since ~6 months ago, Lc0 automatically detects when to use fp16. I believe you just use a different network size. 20000 for 320x24 nets is normal, it's probably 256x20 that gets 35000. You can see other's speeds at http://lc0.org/benchmark, and network examples for different sizes at http://lc0.org/...

So let me get this straight.
Giving Leela 64gb ram makes her significantly stronger in chess engine matches than giving her 16gb of ram with time control
30s a move?
No, with 30s per move there is no difference.

Re: How does Leela scale to ram?

Large RAM is only needed when you run very slow TC games (hours per move). Otherwise it doesn't make a difference.

Re: Issue with compilation of leela ver.0.24.x

Please, mark for me where I wrote hating mode. I asked for help from crem, who did not react even my personal e-mail either. This was not the first case when I did not experienced readiness to help from the developers of Leela. But, thanking to you now I experienced insolent arrogance. I didn't rec...
