The Capivara LK 0.09a02a found the same movement, since the depth 7-9, except 10, and the since depth 11 .......

Surprised? See also the move of depth 1!

Post by Joost Buijs »

This is the output from Nightmare, although on a somewhat slower box.
It is switching between Rxf6 and Bh5+. On the last iteration it is already hitting the table-bases.
When the game continued the score was slowly decreasing towards zero.
Nightmare could not find a win, according to John it missed a win later in the game.

When I have some time to spare I will try to find out where and why it missed a win.

Hello Louis:

Hannibal did not fail in this position. Analysis by Hannibal 1.3 w32 (using two cores) in an Intel Pentium D930 (3 GHz), with 1 GB of hash, running under Arena 2.0.1 GUI:
