Hi, the new release on my system says will not run as extra files needed AMD 1100T

normal first release of 9.6 works fine

Not sure. The other stockfish versions and variants all compile and run fine using the same compiler, so I am not sure what is wrong.

That is why I have been unable to contribute.

gcc 8.1 compiles McBrain correctly on a 32 bit Raspberry Pi - so I'm not sure what the problem is. For macOS, gcc 8.1 is still development and will break my other gcc versions if I install gcc 8.1 using Macports - which I'm not inclined to do.

At some point I will rebase on current SF and perhaps we can see exactly what the issues as bring changes over one by one
