I have removed the old tournaments, pressed New tournaments, and finally I have a backup of my last big tournament and I can continue the games from here. When you select it and press + (duplicate) does it makes 1 more clone? Because nothing apparenttly happens.
Yes, 1 clone each time only. You should select a recent tournament first, BSG will create a clone with prefix BK- on name.

PS: I have added up to 47 engines, but the messagebox always says: "added 41 new games" (should be 44-45-46) is only a glitch?

Thank you!

AlexChess
For a round-robin tournament, it should create 47 x round number = a number (if the new engine does not participate yet) of new games/matches, but not 44-45-46. Can you send me the files banksiatour.json and banksiaplaying.json for checking? Thanks

Fixed bugs:
* A bug on pondering for engines
Terrific release! Can you comment on the pondering bug? What was it?
BSG did not send the command "stop" if the ponder is not hit. It is my big mistake from a previous version when re-writing/cleaning some code
CMCanavessi wrote: Sat Jul 24, 2021 6:35 pm Also, when running a tournament, when does Banksia "saves" progress? After every match? At certain intervals? How does that work?
It writes down whenever a game/match of the tournament is changed (created, deleted, completed). BSG uses a technique about queuing/delaying a few seconds before real writing down, just to avoid being conflict/or creating too much in/out. For the user view, it is almost instant.

CMCanavessi wrote: Sat Jul 24, 2021 7:10 pm Bug report!

The new graphics are cool (I'd also like one for TB Hits), but when you use them in "bar mode", the graphics (bars) are in inverted order (black, white, black, white). You first see the bar for white appear, but then the bar for black comes not after it (to the right of the graph), but before (to the left).
I don't know how to explain it better, but just by looking at it you can tell immediately
Thanks for the report. Will change for the next release.

Option to let engine kibitz it's thinking on Lichess.
Thanks for the suggestion. I have added it to my TODO list.

It may take a while to implement since I knew in general but not in the detail that Lichess has some limits/conditions about chatting, say who can chat, rooms, the number of chats in a period...

I may implement it for the next (or right after the next) release. Thanks for the suggestion.

The problem was that it was a collision. Syzygy path for engines should be soley for egtb consulting in search, the same idea for syzygy adjudication. Before they caused a collision.

CuteChess have them seperately.

Being able to set a universal syzygy path for engines during search and adjudication in setting will be nice, as long they don't collide and overlap.

Most users have syzygy on SSDs

While HDDs is sufficient for static adjudication.

HDDs cause a massive slowdown. Therefore it's important that adjudication don't collide with egtb consulting path and vice versa.

Yes. Could you give me the path of the 2 .json files on Windows 10?

I have added Berserk 4.5.0 and it says "41 added" (must be 46)

I've found another bug that makes banksia crash, at least on my system:

If you have several of the new graphic options open (depth, nodes, elapsed time, etc) and you go to file > settings and uncheck them, the 1st one you uncheck will work ok, but the 2nd will make banksia crash. I can reproduce this indefinitely on my pc.
Can anyone else try the same?

This is a very interesting program.

But where are the help / readme files? I'm interested in the Extreme Analysis, amongst other things, but an explanation would really help.
