Were all your wins by checkmate at game in 30 sec or game in 1 min? That level 8 takes 1 sec per move so min tc to play it is 1 min + 1 sec or game in 2 min. So if time runs out it just makes nonsense moves since it has lost on time it thinks. That might explain the play.

The last 5 games here were:

"Jugar contra el ordenador"
"Variante:Estandar"
"Control de tiempo; Tiempo real."
"Minutos por jugador: 1/2"
Segundos de incremento: 0"
"Nivel 8"
"Fairy-Stockfish 13.1 nivel 8"

... The computer plays very precisely, until it realizes that it is short on time and then the computer goes crazy and begins to sacrifice and play with a schizophrenic psychology. I feel like I am playing against a GM who is very precise and relentless in his movements, and that his personality will suddenly change radically from one moment to the next, making absurd plays that are puzzling that are unexpected and that are often so surprising and unforeseen that they leave me without breathing it produces nerves and tension because the clock also begins to tighten me. I must keep my nerves cool and take control of myself. I take a lot of time advantage from the computer even in the 1/2 minute games, something like that when the computer has 1 second left for me 15 seconds, then at that moment I have to change my attitude, I know that the algorithm of the machine will explode and that its speed will be absolutely extreme and disconcerting in an amalgam of insane pyrotechnic plays but even so at the slightest neglect and death against me. I know that the machine's lack of feeling is vulnerable to a weapon even more powerful than such callousness: the power of the tempo and the clock.
I am thinking chess is in a coin.Human beings for ever playing in one face. Now I am playing in the other face:"Antichess". Computers are as a fortres where owner forgot to close a little door behind. You must enter across this door.Forget the front.

I know that the machine's lack of feeling is vulnerable to a weapon even more powerful than such callousness: the power of the tempo and the clock.
... I forgot to say something. It is about my psychological insight into or about the psychology and personality that chess programs possess. In a way, chess programs are like the human brain, or rather, like people. There are choleric, amorphous, emotional, active, primary, secondary, etc. Those chess programs can be beaten playing on their land and under their conditions, something like the elite players would like to achieve when facing them and in the way in which they have historically done it; But I think that when you take the computer beyond the limit for which it was created you will put it in trouble. This limit is integrated or made up of narrow doors and their fissures. The weaknesses are varied. And to achieve the implementation of this general strategy, purely chess tools are required. I remember not infrequently on the way of my life, having taken computers beyond their purely architectural and design capacity. And I believe or consider that this is a good game system against machines: The double strategy composed of playing chess well and exhausting the software until it bursts with fatigue. These are my perseptions ... just that ...
I am thinking chess is in a coin.Human beings for ever playing in one face. Now I am playing in the other face:"Antichess". Computers are as a fortres where owner forgot to close a little door behind. You must enter across this door.Forget the front.

Can anyone tell me what it means to play a "casual bullet game" on Lichess? Does it mean that it sets a time control of game in one minute (or half a minute), but does not enforce it by forfeiting the player who oversteps? If so then all this makes sense. Or does it mean something else? In any case, now that you know that level 8 is set to take one second per move, it is obviously silly to play it at a time limit that it will exceed after 60 moves or so. Probably level 7 or 6 would play properly at game in half a minute.

It just means you dont lose (or gain) any rating points from the result. G in 1/2 or 1m just means all the moves in that time or time forfeit as you should expect in any norrmal game.
I tried a few and lost on time even though I thought i was moving fast - it is incredibly frustrating to play against sf this way - I doubt if there are any strong bullet players who have won otherwise I suspect they would be posting as Father did on their wins.
Larry since you are a GM - can you try to get a feel for what you might be able to do?
This level of bullet is totally out of my league.

Also note that Father (Catecan) is rated about 2000 in bullet on LiChess - he has played against human opp. but oddly his blitz at 1947 is slightly less than mine but at I play at the longest blitz possible. (And ELO on lichess is at least >200 than chess.com)

So regardless of how this happened it is an incredible result against SF for a human.

It is clear that in all of these wins by humans the computer starts to play giveaway chess after move 60, presumably because it thinks it is out of time and just picks a "random" move. But I don't quite understand why it doesn't lose on time if it is really out of time; perhaps if time drops below x seconds it is programmed to "resign" by making any random move instantly? As for myself, although I can still play blitz around 2200 level at age 73, I can't play game/1 minute bullet at all, I lose every game on time around move 30 or so. To beat SF8 on lichess in bullet, you just have to last 60 to 70 moves and it will effectively "resign". That's not easy to do, but it is not a chess skill, just knowing how to keep the game blocked up and moving very fast with lots of pre-moving.

Thats what I normally say about those who beat me in bullet! - I can't stand playing bullet - i managed about 1600+ at lichess and 1300+ on chess.com but I prefer to play slower blitz 5+ 3 or 5+5.

I found yet another win against stockfish level 8 - a whole video by Jonathan Schrantz

This one should be of interest in the realm of anti-computer chess as well.

Do you know the speed of Stockfish Level 8 running speed on web Lichess server? (around 3000 elo).
It probably be 1/1000 speed of the computer running on 64-128 cores cpu in playchess where father played. (3600-3700 elo)
Do not assume all stockfish are running the same strength.

Winning strategy by mediocre online 2300 blitz rated human against mediocre server stockfish is quite useless against full strength Stockfish.

While true, I think this misses the point. Even on one thread on any plausible computer, Stockfish taking one second per move will beat any human in blitz. It is losing only because it is taking one second per move and after 60 moves "thinks" time is up, and does something silly as a result. Even 128 cores won't change that. That level just isn't intended for one minute or faster bullet chess, it must have a one second increment plus the minute or half minute, or else at least two minutes, to play a 100 move game taking one second per move. I'll be surprised if any human has won a single game (without cheating) against Stockfish Lichess level 8 using at least a one second increment to allow that level to work as programmed.
