The question should be re-worded: "is he able to DRAW these new generation chess engines?"
He was not able to draw some very old chess engines. It just depended on how well it was programmed to avoid his anti-computer tactics. I remember ChessTiger just murdered him, and he was never able to draw this engine. I believe the NN understand about locked positions.

I remember on ICC decades ago when some GM's did not want to play Chess Tiger. It would just go right through them.

A HUG RO STOCKFISH 14

Post by Father »

July 10, 2021-

A letter to my deceased Father and Mother.

Dear and forever beloved Mom and Dad.

I thank you for giving me life and allowing me to come into this world. In memory of the love that lives eternally within my soul, I offer you this small gift: "My first game of chess against the computer stockfsh 14 in tournament mode at 5 minutes in blitz." The result is a draw.

Agan I will return to the prayer in the midst of silence. It is enough for me to know that my result against the computer is equal. At this moment my elo exceeds 3600, and that is enough for me to rest again.

I love you so much Parents forever and ever.

A hug,

Paul

To create an impenetrable wall of pawns and to claim a draw is not considered playing a la par with any top engine, it is simply a way to let us know what we always knew that engines do NOT like to sacrifice small pieces like Knight for instance Nf5xe3 in order to break the wall and give you a lesson like Komodo MCTS is doing with players in the range between 2450 to 2500. If Komodo MCTS is given instructions to break the wall of pawns like the knight on f5 Nf5xe3 it would be like playing with a Knight Odds against an open position which you would have to defend if you can defend it once your wall of pawns is broken

Why don't you defend this position against Stockfish 14 after the Knight Sac :?:

Sorry but to sacrifice this Knight is better since it open the White King position faster

Why don't you continue this last position that I posted against Stockfish 14 and see if you can survive it after the knight Sacrifice

I sent this position to my online trainer rated 2460 and asked him if he could beat Stockfish14 after the Knight Sac and he sent me back the game saying it is hard for any IM like him to beat Stockfish 14 unless the human player is rated above FIDE 2600
