If there is interest (enough) I will upload one or two flavours for older hardware.
I have already compiled one for me. Time to depth for more threads seems quite improved.
(even noticable on my hardware compared to r305 nopopcount release)

Note that default for Threads for r323 is 8!
The release of r323 was retreated :(

This is the reason:

FoxSEE 7.17.0

Thanks to the Author Zixiao Han :sm36:

https://github.com/redsalmon91/FoxSEE/r ... ag/v7.17.0

Updates :
- Re-wrote q_search; start to use transposition table in q_search (share the same table with ab_search); removed dangerous cutoffs on pv nodes
- Carefully selected where to fail-hard and where to fail-soft
- Removed Aspiration Window (as a result of fail-hard/soft change, because it causes search instability otherwise)
- Added Razoring with a safe margin
- Added back Mate-Threat Extension to guard Razoring & Reversed Futility Pruning
- Added Time Pruning (another new experimental idea, see wiki for explaination)
- Slightly modified evaluation (mostly around passers)

The 50th release... and now it's called pre-release.

Needs more games, but unlikely to change too much.
thanks Ray, that's way more than I expected to be honest. glad to see that I finally broke 3k in CCRL FRC - means a lot to me :)

unfortunately I found some bugs after the release, but they don't seem to impact the strength (aspiration window overflow when close to mate, score ocillations in fine #70, failure to resolve some mates). fixing them might impact strength in theory though - so I'll probably keep the release as is

Certain engines are hard to beat even if they are close in strength like Komodo 9 :rol

Bit-Genie UCI Engine V4
Download

Thanks to the Author Aryan Parekh thumbsup

https://github.com/Aryan1508/Bit-Genie/releases/tag/v4

Improve evaluation :

- Tuning of some parameters
- Improve mobility evaluation
- Improve late move reductions to allow engine to search deeper (higher depths)
- Fix for score cp display issue which appeared again in v3
- Update make-file to work with OpenBench for testing
- Format all source files to fix in-consistent indents and other small cleanups in source code
- Fix for issue which caused engine to not terminate immediately when testing with cutechess
