Hi Krzysztof,

have a look on my engine link site.
I know you dislike the site, but I am working hard for some month do fix the mistakes.

Here you can see the links to Günther Simon (download RWBC) to Nemorino 6.05 & Defenchess 2.3 and many other compiles Günther created / offer.

I am using Nemorino 6.04 for FCP Tourney-2021, got the executable from the programmer.
Nemorino 6.04 / 6.05 are weaker as 6.00 but you can used the own NN file (more originality).

Weaker but very strong, I am very happy with Nemorino 6.04 in my still running FCP-Tourney.

If you have no interest to use my own link site:
http://www.amateurschach.de/main/_engines.htm ...

Go directly to the very strong site Günther is working:
https://rwbc-chess.de/download.htm

Vajolet2 2.9 or newer ...
Not available, last version is Vajolet2 2.8.
I hope of a newer Vajolet2 version too!

Best
Frank

Hi Frank.

Thank you, Frank. As for your website, I like it. There is one thing I don't like. How someone is misleading someone. Perhaps you did it accidentally or mistakenly, but after writing on the forum with the author of the engine - you corrected it.

Hi Krzysztof,

thank you!
Nobody is perfect, be sure ... I am absolutely not perfect!

Often I have a bad expierence in my brain after so many things I do for computer chess in the last years.
A particular hindrance for the own opinion!

Frank

Let us hope that the programmer of Vajolet will read it and will give us a new gift for testing!

Hi Frank.

Of course you are right - no one is perfect, we are just flesh and blood. I would like to test another engine, but no one will probably make it available. I mean the engine FF2. What else I like from you is that you are using GUI Shredder.

Hi Krzysztof,

since I give up the work around Arena I am using Shredder GUI.
Cann't work with Arena, to many lifeblood because all my older ideas are inside.
Not good for me or I contact Martin and we start again.

Shredder GUI runs very stable and is good enough for eng-eng testing.
I like Nibbler and CuteChess a lot.
Banksia not checked in detail but I will do that.

At the moment I have a motivation problem and I am happy if I can update the still running
FCP Tourney-2021.

Looking here what a friend do with Shredder GUI chessboard graphics:
http://www.amateurschach.de/t2021/commo ... ke-off.jpg

:-)

Hope Stefan will not read it.

:-)

I'm a big fan of Shredder GUI, but it does not have concurrency does it ?

Hello

The once is the Shredder GUI *.sto tourney file.
Idea to create a file for organize eng-eng tourneys comes from Martin.

Martin have no problems with it in times Stefan asked for it.
Stefan used the idea by Martin mixed with own ideas.

Never we had a problem with Stefan Meyer-Kahlen ... one time only!

Arena are the first GUI with FRC / Chess960 support.
A wish from DGT Alfred (Alfred need it for GM tournaments in Mainz I believe,
Alfred wrote at this time that Chessbase have no interest to support it)
and after a discussion with Reinhold Scharnagl Martin added FRC / Chess960
support.

Martin do that but Stefan made later different things very own (castling is the topic).
Unfortunately, better is to work with Martin hand in hand but Stefan goes his
own way. That's bad because it produced incompatibility between the engines!

Ah, not to 100% right!
The programmer of Betsy found a way to play FRC / Chess960 with Winboard in times
before Martin added the support for Arena GUI. Never checked that with Winboard and
Betsy.
