Zahak finally has a logo that well represents it. Zahak was an ancient villain living in what is now known as Iran. He had two giant snakes on his shoulders, and he had to feed them the brains of two young boys every day.
The logo shows the two snakes, on the shoulders of a knight, the knight is looking mean, with a hint of agility. The logo is designed by the amazing graphic designer and artist: Nasrin Zaza

Playing two test games with Zahak vs PaulChen332 right now.

Re: Meet Zahak's shiny logo
I really love the Logo!
So now I've got a clearer image of my foe when I pit MMC against your engines! Currently I'm playing against Zahak 3.0 as MinimalChess has against all expectations outgrown it's predecessors.
And the timing is a funny coincidence. Just a few days ago I asked a friend if she could be compelled to draw me a logo for *REDACTED* because I think every github page that prominently features a picture becomes immediately more memorable (otherwise all github pages look alike) and personal.

The logo has a serious flaw: in Arena svg images cannot be displayed and I have no tool to convert it to BMP or PNG.

Thanks, and it is impressive to see MMC surpassed Zahak 2.0.0.lithander wrote: ↑Tue Jul 06, 2021 1:06 pm I really love the Logo!

Zahak 2.0.0 is still tuned manually, but is packed with features, and still cannot beat MMC with almost no features except tuned eval (+ mobility), that is awesome (or bad news for us humans maybe?)
I think Zahak 3.0.0 is a higher cliff, as the speed difference between the two engines is a bit too much to overcome, you may want to add some pruning before MMC can beat it
