I would love to see a push for all rating lists to make use of AVX2 processors. Most NNUE engines are gimped without those.

I fear another PC in the living room will be at the cost my marriage.

We in the SSDF use a plethora of different hardware when testing manually (Revelation II A.E., Millennium ChessGenius Exclusive/The King and so on), but our main hardware used for testing automatically (auto 232) can be seen at our homepage:

https://ssdf.bosjo.net/hardware.htm

The most recently used has been the Q6600 and 1800X.

I can speak for myself only, my actually used hardware for CEGT is:

CPU
- Intel i5-6600k @ 4,2 GHZ, 16GB RAM
- Intel i7-4770 @ 3,8GHZ, 16GB RAM
- Intel i5-4440 @ 3,3 GHZ, 16GB RAM
- AMD Ryzen 7-2700 @ 3,5GHZ, 16GB RAM
- AMD Ryzen 5-1600 @ 3,5GHZ, 8GB RAM
- AMD Ryzen 5-1500x @ 3,8GHZ, 8GB RAM

All these machines are avx2 compatible!

The older machines (FX8350, i7-2600, i5-3570s) are not active any more, at least for NNUE testing

GPU
Nvidia Geforce GTX 1060, 6GB RAM
