I've put pulsar now in Diamond Chess Online for Android my fics and icc client, similar to how it's in lantern chess an icc interface for android.
One drawback is i used the older Lantern port and it does not support chess960 so it supports in diamond/lantern on android chess, crazyhouse, atomic chess, loser's chess, three checks and giveaway. There is a choice of levels at chess and variants and it can be used on and offline. Pulsar is already on the Mac and iOS client and does include chess960 there.

The full Android Pulsar Chess Engine experience is at https://play.google.com/store/apps/deta ... n_US&gl=US
which includes chess960 and some advanced options like show thinking and show book moves.

Pulsar takes some hits in ratings I think because its easy level is around 1200 or so ICC and it's tougher perhaps than some of the competition. I'm looking into moving that level to level 2 and handicapping it to be easier on easy. Maybe reduced valuation for rooks and queen.
