Hello:

He went wrong many times according to the live analysis of Chess24:

https://chess24.com/en/watch/live-tourn ... 2021/7/1/4

The last 'blunder' (a quite logical move for untrained eyes like mine) was 61.- Bc1 instead of 61.- Bd4. Nevertheless, I want to point to a fun fact (not so fun for Magnus): the Kf1, Kf2 or Kf3 doubt coming from g2 square, giving away draw chances at move 50 of today's game and winning chances at move 47 of a game from year 2009 played at Linares:

I remember watching that game from 2009 by streaming and that 47.- ..., Nb5 brilliant move to save the draw.

Watched a bit of this yesterday on youtube and Nigel Short was in a Tizzy about Whites Strategy during the contest...the commentators spent quite a bit of time analyzing g4 and g5 or g4 and h5 for white..trying to counter blacks queenside attack on the kingside...even the well timed Bxh6! for white with 2 pawns and an attack for white may be enough to hold the balance...whites dark squared bishop looks "overworked" in a bishops ending with all of his pawns on the wrong squares..the interesting 51. f5!? for white gives him an advanced pawn wedge on f6 and MAY be enough to hold this difficult position under pressure... :)
