The video is dated May 24, 2016. Komodo 9 came out in 2016 so presumably the version Rensch played was Komodo 9 or close to it, and probably running on modest hardware. I think it would take an active GM to win a blitz match from Dragon2 MCTS on good hardware at knight and move odds, and it would take a Strong GM to do so at just knight odds.

I don't need to look past move 2 to see that there is no comparison between Komodo Dragon and pre-NNUE Komodo. 2.Qh5 is just ridiculous (even if Hikaru played it many times in normal chess around age 20). Also, this game was Rapid, you asked about blitz. We had a lot of blitz games between GM Lenderman and Dragon 2 (or close to it) at knight and move odds. I'd have to check the details, but somewhere around 3' + 1" was the break even point (though with draws counting for Dragon, so he just resigned once a win looked impossible), and Lenderman is 2650 FIDE blitz. So I'm not just guessing, we already have significant data on this. With just knight odds the break-even (with the Armageddon rule) was about 6' + 1".

Even if 2. Qh5 is a bad move I believe that IM Rensch rated 2402 should be able to draw a match of 10 games (5 points to 5 points) at 5 minutes Blitz against Komodo Dragon 2 where Komodo give the b8 and g8 Knight Odds. Remember Komodo will be playing with the Black pieces.
