Movei question progress 10 10 10

Uri,
I read from many of your posts that progress 10 10 10 personality is about 30 points better. I didnt know how to make a configuration file for that see if the one below would work?

Engine works fine, but I wasnt sure as to how I can verify if the engine actually used the above setting. So I decided to use movei as a UCI engine. Under UCI mode, movei doesnt seem to use its book, if I dont use own book, the change in variable could change the outcome. If movei can gain additional 30 points, it can make it to the premier division, I do not know if it will survive there but it would be fun to watch movei back in Premier after a long time.

I think Uri mentioned something about some kind of ini file....moveichages.ini if I remember correctly where you type Progress 10 10 10

I am talking about the movei_changes403, I was trying to ask him whether or not the above would work. I cant get the UCI version to use the book, so I would rather use the WB version.

As winboard engine you need an additional 0 and you can use

Note that I am not sure if 10 10 10 0 is the strongest and Jorge suggested in the past 4 6 10 0 that could perform even better based on my tests and his tests but both of us do not have enough games.

10 10 10 is the best tested version by CCRL and I also tested it more than 4 6 10.

4 6 10 was not tested by them.

Toni, after several more testings I found out that Progress 10 10 10 0 is much stronger than progress 4 6 10 0.

PS: Make sure that your Movei_magic_numbers403 are the same as these numbers here: If not copy and paste

Engine works fine, but I wasnt sure as to how I can verify if the engine actually used the above setting. So I decided to use movei as a UCI engine. Under UCI mode, movei doesnt seem to use its book, if I dont use own book, the change in variable could change the outcome. If movei can gain additional 30 points, it can make it to the premier division, I do not know if it will survive there but it would be fun to watch movei back in Premier after a long time.

As winboard engine you need an additional 0 and you can use

Something is wrong here, Movei started crashing after I added the extra Zero at the end of Progress.

Can you post your change files?

If you have only progress 10 10 10 0 in the change files it does not crash.
Maybe you have some additional information
I suggest that you first try it in console mode to see if it works.
