Conducted a mini-tournament btw: Slow Chess 2.6/ RubiChess2.2 / Scorpio v3 /SF 14nonn

Note that Scorpio has only a slight edge over SF14noNn but dominates SlowChess2.6 and RubiChess2.2.




This result combined with earlier results of tournaments I conducted has opened up what I see as an UNKNOWN REGION that exists btw Fire and Rubichess2.2. Scorpio/ Ethereal 13 /Revenge /SF 14nonn make up this region.

I believe that Scorpio will be on top of Ethereal 13/Revenge but obviously we need tests to show this.

Below is a list I have compiled based on ALL of my tournaments/matches.

ALL engines 64-bit 8CPU


1 Stockfish 14

2 Fat Fritz 2 * (in SF) - SF13 was about 9 ELO above this in head to test over thousands of games. FF2 did better in certain positions vs SF

3. LC0 - using 69702 and J94-130 networks This engine is far stronger than Komodo Dragon 2 on head to head using my hardware

4 Dragon by Komodo 2 64-bit 8CPU

5. Fire_8.NN.1 *default using sergio-v network.

7. Stockfish_14nonn - no neural network SF is excellent for comparison purposes.
