In a real game I played Re5: but Skipper can't find it. Tsss. Just using intuition.

I doubt it is an easy win to find. Especially for alpha beta engines. I mean going down 16 plies Zahak failed to find it... It requires at least 20 plies deep to see it

Nalwald finds it at depth 18 after roughly 6 minutes, but at this point it still thinks it is at -46cp.

Myrddin needs 1:18 to find the first fail high, and 1:34 to score it a draw. After five minutes, it's still scored as a draw.

In this position of my real life game of last weak my last move was f5-f4. Skipper thinks white can take the bishop on h4. Tssss.

Of course he can take the bishop, but if it is any good that's another question. It's just a lack of king safety.
As human I would probably play something like e4, but hey it has been 15 years since I last played OTB chess.

My opponent also played e3-e4. Stockfish says Nf3 is best.

My engine also thinks that Nf3 is best, it gives a rather exaggerated score of about one knight advantage. Only at depth 1 it wants to take on f4 but not on h4.

Dev version of Zahak finds Nf3 almost instantly

By the way I lost the game. Wasted all my time on finding out whether f5-f4 was correct but forgot to check what would happen if white refused the bishop. Being idiot. But position was already bad for black.
