Congratulations, Albert. Le Quang Liem, the future Carlsen adversary?

Winning both the Moscow Open and the Aeroflot Open, 18 non-stop rounds against the fearsome Russian school, on their own turf? That’s a story his grandchildren will be bragging about.

Who can say, but yes, a remarkable feat. 19, and already knocking on the doors of giants. :)

Thanks albert for the fine report written with a remarkable spirit and yet professionaly :D
The kid is amazing and reading about him I more and more disagree with Botvinnik when he says that chess is 99% hard work and 1% talent....
Cheers,

Actually, this is not a secret. I have been a chess collaborator for YEARS. Since I love chess with a passion, I try to take an active role in its development and improvement.

I have organized tournaments, both small and large, written instructional and informative articles (as here), worked in a chess store (in Paris), given lectures (paid and free), given chess classes (paid and free), been a moderator (in spite of difficult times - "for better or for worse" as they say) in the foremost computer chess forums, wrote-recorded-created instructional videos, helped develop chess software online and off, etc. The list goes on.

What have *you* done apart from complain and harass?
