A very cruel joke! If that is the case. Ingo not a good person. All this hype for nothing. I only say if is the case.

That's not possible. The performance of this engine (3035 at the moment after 2135 games) is 47 points lower than Houdini 3 IPON rating.

I bet Ingo is laughing at all of us :)

Capital punishment would be more effective as a preventive measure if it were administered prior to the crime.

1646.0	-	569.0 74.31% Perf=3035

Well, with the current performance of 3035 it is close to Komodo. If i now consider an updated version of a version already in the list i would exclude Stockfish,Critter because Stockfish is up to date (afaik) and Richard already excluded Critter. For all other engines beside Rybka it would be a progress of over 100 Elo which would be a huge jump.
I only can imagine this jump for engines which last release date is at least 2 years back. Now, which engines are left then, close to the top.

Maybe Naum or Rybka, but i would like to see Shredder or Hiarcs.

But I know what's going on and this is just another clone. A program this strong just doesn't appear out of nowhere.

Ok, I'll fess up. Ingo will explain, but someone already correctly guessed what this is. It's Komodo CCT with time usage aggressiveness set to 3!
