Every time I have ventured into CTF it quickly turns into a "should I comment, or bite my lip" decision.
There are many places on the web to vent your frustrations, whether it be politics, religion or any of the other categories of topics that Mother's have warned us about not getting into conversations about.
Some of the threads have turned very nasty at times, and do the moderators really want to spend their time policing content of a non-chess related nature?
I say drop it like a hot potato (#2).

1.CTF should continue as it is now.. You can certainly ignore all the racist remarks by some members there. However to close the forum is not a good enough reason because of a few members who are unable to control themselves and their extreme views.
