Here is a Boxed version that was uploaded by Chad on Discord. You will need to have Dot Net 5 installed.

Ceres:

Dot Net: https://dotnet.microsoft.com/download/d ... -installer
Careful.
At least one of the boxed versions was compiled with Debug.
From the dev on Discord an hour ago:
Ceres.exe dated 1/1/2021 12:51pm. We determined that this boxed version was compiled with Debug flags. You can tell because it is under in a directory named "Debug". It needs to be a Release version, the CPU score is about 38 with Debug and 100 with Release, Ceres will be massively slower.
OK.
But what is the exact Ceres.json file?
It needs for debug and release version too!
You created it when the program is started the 1st time, you can edit it after that. In other words on successful 1st startup a script will prompt you for paths and file names. Once the Ceres.json file is created you will no longer be prompted, it you read your saved data from the file. If you are not prompted it is because it see a ceres.json file. If you delete the ceres.json file, you will be prompted for the data and it will re-create the ceres.json file.

Post what you have in it. Or look in this thread for my reply to Dan where I have already posted the content of my ceres.json file on page 5.

Thanks.
It works well!
Now it needs the usable UCi commands.
There is no any "help" command or at least I do not know it.

The problem with Chad's Boxed version has been fixed. lc0.dll in the right subdirectory now.

What commands are you looking for?
There are none of the setoption UCI commands that Lc0 might use as Ceres only uses the Lc0 backend.
Setup commands are in the json file for things like tablebase directories.
The "go" and other playing commands work.
